About Yahtzee
===================
Yahtzee is a dice game where the goal is to roll specific sets of dice to get points. The goal is to get the best score.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

How to Start
===================
Each player takes a score sheet from the barrels in front of the chairs and take turns rolling the dice. On your turn you will go to the front of the room and roll five dice. To do that, stand in front of a dispenser, press the button underneath it,

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

and place the die in the item frame under the dispenser it came out of. Repeat this four more times with each dispenser. When you are done with the dice, punch each item frame once to reset it. After you roll the dice for the first time, you may choose which dice you want to keep and which you want to

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

reroll. Punch the dice you want to reroll, and get new ones just like before. You may choose which dice you want to keep for a third time and reroll the rest. After rerolling the dice twice, you have your final dice and must choose how you want to use it on your score sheet. You can

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

also choose to keep all your dice during the first or second roll and end your turn early. If you have nowhere to put the dice you rolled, you will have to put a dash through one of the rows you have left, and be unable to use it for the rest of the game. When you have written down

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

your score for this turn, punch all the dice and let someone else take their turn. Play will continue like this until everyone's score sheets are full. If someone's score sheet is not full when everyone else's is, they may keep playing until it is. After you're done, tally up your final score. The

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

person with the highest score wins! When you're done, erase your scores from the score sheet and put it back in a barrel.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Upper Section
===================
To fill each row in the upper section, your goal is to get as many dice of one number as possible. For example, if you are going for fives, then when you roll the dice you will keep all the fives you get, and reroll any other number. This section can also be

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

used to fill a row if you get a bad roll. If you were going for fives but only got one five and two ones, and your one's row is empty, then you can write two ones instead of one five and go for fives later. You will only count the dice that match the row you're using your score for. So if you

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

roll three fives, you would write 15 in the fives row, and ignore the other dice.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Lower Section
===================
3 of a kind: Roll three of the same number or more, and count all of your dice in your score.
-------------------
4 of a kind: Roll four of the same number or more, and count all of your dice in your score.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Full House: Roll three of the same number and a pair of a different number. Your score will be 25.
-------------------
Small Straight: Roll four numbers in a sequence (i.e. 1, 2, 3, and 4, or 2, 3, 4, and 5, or 3, 4, 5, and 6). Your score will be 30.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Large Straight: Roll five numbers in a sequence (i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, or 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6). Your score will be 40.
-------------------
Yahtzee: Roll five of the same number. Your score will be 50.
-------------------
Chance: If you roll a bad set of dice or have filled out every

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

other space, you can count up the total of your dice and put the score here.
-------------------
Yahtzee Bonus: If you get a second Yahtzee, you can mark it here. Each extra Yahtzee is worth 100 points, and you will only get three bonus Yahtzee's (four total).

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Scoring
===================
Upper Section: Add all your scores together and write it in total score. If your score is 63 points or more, add 35 to your score and write it in total on the upper section's page and total of upper on the scoring page.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Lower Section: Add all the scores together, including 100 points for each bonus Yahtzee, and write it in total on the lower section's page and total of lower on the scoring page.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Total: Add total of upper and total of lower on the scoring page and write your final score in grand total. Once everyone is done filling out their score sheet, whoever has the highest score wins!
